Nana Opoku Agyemang-Prempeh (born 7 June 1989 in Obuasi) is a Ghanaian professional footballer, who currently plays for Qatar Stars League club Al-Sadd , and the Ghana national team.

Career

Opoku began his career by the AshantiGold Soccer Academy[2] and was than promoted to Ashanti Gold SC in July 2005.[3] He left than Ashanti Gold and was transferred to Tunisian side Club Sportif Sfaxien as free agent, in January 2007.[4] On December 2008, he was transferred to Al Sadd of the Qatar Stars League and would join on 17 September 2009 on loan to Al-Wahda FC (Abu Dhabi), the transfer was failed.[5] But on 22 February 2011, he joined another Qatari club Al-Ahli on a three-month loan deal from Al Sadd.[6]

International

Opoku was the star of the 2005 Africa under 17 Championships and was member of the Ghana national under-17 football team at 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Peru. Opoku was also part of the Ghana national under-20 football team that won the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.
